La célèbre bossa nova "The Girl From Ipanema" ne quittera jamais mon iPod. Ce morceau a connu un succès mondial et ça n'est pas étonnant.
Ipanema est un quartier situé dans Rio de Janeiro et la chanson fût inspiré par Helo Pinheiro une jeune fille de 19 ans qui habitait à Ipanema et qui séduisait tous les hommes du quartier par sa beauté. Elle allait acheté des cigarettes dans un bar puis allait sur la plage.
On comprend l'adulation de cette femme par ces hommes en écoutant les paroles.
